  ## App Description

Using this extension, it is possible to calculate the MAC value (Modal Assurance Criterion) for mode shapes and perform quantitative evaluation, making it easier to detect phenomena such as mode shape inversion.

This extension allows you to display the results in Workbench Mechanical.

  ## Key Benefits

In modal analysis, when the shape, material, or constraint conditions of the model are modified, the effect on the vibration characteristics is evaluated based on the natural frequency and mode shape. Here, the natural frequency can be confirmed numerically, but it was necessary to compare the shape of each mode one by one for the mode shape.

However, using this tool, it is possible to calculate the MAC value for the mode shape and perform a quantitative evaluation, making it easier to find phenomena such as mode shape inversion.
