SAF is now publicly available as the foundation for simulation web applications on Synopsys technologies.
We are announcing the public availability of the Solution Application Framework (SAF), an open-source framework that enables customers, partners, and Synopsys teams to develop, deploy, and maintain simulation web applications built on Synopsys simulation technologies. As AI coding assistants make it faster for more people to build applications, SAF provides the defined structure they build within, so what gets produced follows a common architecture instead of diverging with every project.
SAF provides a set of reusable services, application patterns, and development tools that reduce the effort required to create simulation web applications while delivering a consistent user experience across solutions. By making SAF openly available, we aim to accelerate customer innovation, strengthen our partner ecosystem, and encourage community collaboration around simulation-driven workflows.
SAF has already been used to accelerate the development of simulation applications across multiple domains. Making the framework openly available means customers and partners can now use and extend those same capabilities in their own environments, build on them commercially, and contribute back to a shared engineering ecosystem.
SAF is available today, and early adopters have a direct route into its development. Feedback from customers and partners on real projects will shape the roadmap and future investment in the framework.
