## ModelingPly.write\_boundaries(filename, format=None, offset\_type='no\_offset', with\_direction\_arrows=False, arrow\_length=None, arrow\_type='standard\_arrow')

Write boundaries in iges/step format.

### Parameters

- filename: Output file.
- format: ‘iges’, ‘step’, None (automatic format recognition).
- offset\_type: ‘no\_offset’ (default), ‘bottom\_offset’, ‘middle\_offset’, ‘top\_offset’.
- with\_direction\_arrows: The element directions should be written to.
- arrow\_length: Length of the direction arrows (default is average element edge size).
- arrow\_type: Type to be used as arrows (‘standard\_arrow’(default), ‘no\_arrow’, ‘half\_arrow’).
