#### *static* CreateContactPatchParams.set\_default(contact\_patch\_axis=None, offset\_distance=None, grouping\_tolerance=None, suggested\_part\_name=None, suggested\_label\_prefix=None)

Set the default values of the `CreateContactPatchParams` object.

- **Parameters:**
    
    **contact\_patch\_axis: ContactPatchAxis, optional**: Assigns the contact patch direction.
    
    **offset\_distance: float, optional**: Source offset distance value.
    
    **grouping\_tolerance: float, optional**: Tolerance distance value to group regions for contact patch creation.
    
    **suggested\_part\_name: str, optional**: Suggested part name for created contact patch surfaces.
    
    **suggested\_label\_prefix: str, optional**: Suggested label name for created contact patch surfaces.
