#### *static* MergeBoundaryNodesParams.set\_default(tolerance=None, use\_absolute\_tolerance=None, merge\_node\_type=None)

Set the default values of the `MergeBoundaryNodesParams` object.

**Parameters:**

**tolerance: float, optional**

Distance tolerance for merging boundary nodes.

**use\_absolute\_tolerance: bool, optional**

Indicates whether the tolerance provided is an absolute value or not.

**merge\_node\_type: MergeNodeType, optional**

Type of nodes to be merged.
