#### *static* SurfaceDiagnosticSummaryParams.set\_default(scope=None, compute\_self\_intersections=None, compute\_free\_edges=None, compute\_multi\_edges=None, compute\_duplicate\_faces=None)

Set the default values of the `SurfaceDiagnosticSummaryParams` object.

**Parameters:**

**scope: ScopeDefinition, optional**

Scope the face zonelets for surface diagnostics.

**compute\_self\_intersections: bool, optional**

Control to identify face intersections are present or not.

**compute\_free\_edges: bool, optional**

Control to identify free face edges are present or not.

**compute\_multi\_edges: bool, optional**

Control to identify multi face edges are present or not.

**compute\_duplicate\_faces: bool, optional**

Control to identify duplicate faces are present or not.
