#### *static* LocalSurferParams.set\_default(min\_angle=None, max\_angle=None, size\_field\_type=None, min\_size=None, max\_size=None, growth\_rate=None, constant\_size=None, smooth\_boundary=None, n\_rings=None)

Set the default values of the `LocalSurferParams` object.

**Parameters:**

**min\_angle: float, optional**

Minimum feature angle limit used to identify and preserve features.

**max\_angle: float, optional**

Maximum feature angle limit used to identify and preserve features.

**size\_field\_type: SizeFieldType, optional**

Size field type used to generate surface mesh.

**min\_size: float, optional**

Minimum size to be used in sizing for the surfer.

**max\_size: float, optional**

Maximum size to be used in sizing for the surfer.

**growth\_rate: float, optional**

Growth rate to be used to propagate sizes.

**constant\_size: float, optional**

Constant size to be used in case of constant size field.

**smooth\_boundary: bool, optional**

Option to extend local selection to get smooth boundary of selected elements.

**n\_rings: int, optional**

Number of rings to extend the registered face selection for remeshing.
